Rosita
Rosita was elected to the Torch of Wisdom Foundation Board of Directors in 2017. She is the Recording Secretary and serves as a member of the Governance committee. Being a part of an organization that gives back to the community and supports under-served youth continues to be a passion for Rosita.
She believes with the removal of critical programs in the public schools, it is important for organizations like the Torch of Wisdom to fill in the gaps.
She currently works for the City of Detroit as a Human Resources Manager providing oversight to the following departments: Airport, General Services, Department of Transportation, Health, Fire, Municipal Parking, Ombudsman, and Auditor General.
Rosita earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Detroit. She is a member of the Women's Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
